Here We Grow Again!

When was the last time you thought about your days at The Magnolia School?

Chances are that you can still hear the squeak of the swings on the playground, remember walking across the bridge to the middle school, or recall finding your way through the Halloween tunnel. At least we hope you do!

A lot about the Magnolia School is the same as you remember. The same brown paneling is in the front room, the shelves in the back room are still stuffed with board games and books, and the porch is still where lunch - and a lot of Magnolia memories - happen every day.

But some things are new. The yellow paint has been refreshed with green. The walls are covered with colorful murals. And did you know we have a zipline now? Yes, for real!

We're growing - and one exciting area of growth is in our campus. In October, we had the opportunity to expand our campus by purchasing the home situated on the corner of West Tharpe and Burns Road, which connects the elementary and middle schools, extends our outdoor space, and provides the space we need to do two exciting new things.

We’re Opening a Preschool!

We're thrilled to announce the opening of Treeschool, a creative, play-based preschool offering half-day programs for Tallahassee's young families.

Slated to open in January/ February 2024 with a small group of students, the Treeschool will grow into a flourishing and dynamic element of The Magnolia School, offering a pathway to the Front Room and strengthening our community.

We can’t wait to see little hands and hear little feet in our new space!
