Magnolia School gets props for work in recycling contest

For the students at the Magnolia School recycling really comes naturally. "The kids are good at making (recycling) happen," said Katy McGlynn, administrative director for the school.

"They just believe that it is something that should be done."

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection recognized the students and teachers at the school Tuesday morning for their outstanding participation in the America Recycles Day K-12 Recycling Pledge Card Contest. Representatives from FDEP visited the school to personally deliver an award to the students and teachers.
